It was just two weeks before the third millennium
A picture and memory remained from us
In the lot of Damascus

Just like the horse and stony sword
That remained from salaheddin

I tell this to a vendor selling calendars:
I don’t want the year of cat and dog
Nor the horse and whale year
I want a calendar of stone year
